The next Auction is to be held on 25th October 2009
At Carters Yard, Maidenhead, Berkshire
The first thing to mention about this year's auction is the name change. We had a lot of interest from overseas last year and we hope to increase this interest - in fact one of the biggest buyers was from Italy!
You are now able to enter lots into this year's auction. Forms are being sent out to people we have details of, but otherwise please feel free to email us for us to send them to you or view them here - they can then be printed off and sent in to the office.
We are aware of a few administrative problems at last year's auction, but we have hopefully rectified these for this year's event. The entry packs will also be available for download soon, should you wish to wait.
All entries have to be submitted by 31st July and be at our site. Unfortunately this year we have decided not to take any additional lots after the closing date, due to the extra administration this brings.
Catalogues will be available at the end of August/beginning of September and will cost £5. Should you wish to pre-order one please contact the office and your details will be taken down, and you will be one of the first to get your hands on the auction catalogue. Another special feature of this year's auction will be a seperate charity auction, to take place at the end of the commercial auction. The items in this section will feature gag boards and the like painted by a variety of fairground artists from across the country - each piece will be a one off and all proceeds from this section of the auction will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
